//The popular Hindi feature film was shown on Sunday evening through the rest of India, but telecast on Saturday in Tamil Nadu. And the blockbuster Chitrahaar too was replaced by Oliyum Olliyum.//

but this is untrue. In all non-hindi states also(atleast in south india, for example in Bangalore), on sunday the 'regional' movie was shown. Also chitrahar vanishes on friday(but it was there on wednesday in chennai DD and other places also), and replaced by 'regional' chitrahar.

Even otherwise it is non-sense to say DD respected, or gave any concessions for Tamil sentiments. There was a change in the long long hindi imposition of DD only after satilite TVs became a part of life.
